1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Sahityotsava Jashn-e-Adab website (jashneadab.org) or registering for any of our cultural programs, festivals, or events, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

⚠️2. Important Program Guidelines & Admission Rules

Please read these mandatory operational guidelines carefully before attending any Jashn-e-Adab event:

Arrival & Seating Time: Attendees must take their seats at least 15 minutes before the program begins each day. Hall entry may not be permitted once performances or discussions have commenced.

Schedule Adherence: Entry is strictly subject to the program schedule. Late entry will not be allowed once a session or performance is in progress to prevent disturbing artists and attendees.

First-Come, First-Served: Entry and seating are strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. Early arrival is strongly encouraged.

Hall Capacity & Entry Closure: Hall entry will be strictly closed once full capacity is reached. Regardless of whether an individual holds a confirmed registration, entry will not be permitted once the venue has reached its safety and seating limit.

No Guarantee of Seat or Entry: Digital or offline registration does not constitute a seat reservation or guarantee admission.

Record Purpose of Registration: Event registration is solely maintained for administrative record-keeping and to inform visitors about future cultural activities of the organisation.

Device Etiquette: All mobile phones and handheld electronic devices must be placed on silent mode or turned off entirely throughout the event.

Age Restrictions: Children below 10 years of age are strictly not permitted inside the auditoriums and performance halls to preserve the contemplative acoustic environment required for classical arts and poetry.

Schedule Changes: The program schedule, artist lineups, and venue arrangements are subject to change without prior notice due to logistical or administrative considerations.

Non-Ticketed Event: Sahityotsava Jashn-e-Adab is a non-commercial, non-ticketed cultural festival. Admission is complimentary but subject to hall capacity and house rules.

3. Right of Admission & Venue Security

Jashn-e-Adab and venue management reserve the absolute right of admission. Security personnel may conduct bag checks and security screenings at venue checkpoints. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, professional audio/video recording rigs without accreditation, outside food and beverages, hazardous materials, and items that may cause disruption.

4. User Communications & Consent

By providing your contact details (phone number and email address) during registration, you explicitly consent to receive event communications, passes, entry notifications, schedule updates, and future cultural invitations via WhatsApp, SMS, and Email. You may opt out of promotional updates at any time by contacting us.

5. Intellectual Property & Media Recording

All content on this website and all performances staged under the aegis of Jashn-e-Adab Foundation—including poetry, classical musical compositions, recitations, theatrical presentations, designs, and brand marks—are protected intellectual property.

Event Photography & Videography Consent: By attending Jashn-e-Adab events, visitors acknowledge and consent to being photographed or recorded on video for archival, promotional, and broadcast purposes across our official channels and media partners without compensation.

6. Code of Conduct

Attendees are expected to uphold the dignity and decorum fitting for a premier literary festival. Any disruptive behavior, heckling, unauthorized commercial activity, refusal to follow instructions of volunteers/ushers, or disrespect towards artists and fellow guests will result in immediate escort from the venue without liability to the organizers.

7. Limitation of Liability

Jashn-e-Adab Foundation, its trustees, partners, and institutional patrons shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, injury, or damage to personal property sustained while attending the festival or accessing the website.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms or festival attendance shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
